Mundial Partners transformed the Serie A Office into a flagship store experience, allowing attendees from various industries to engage intimately with the brands sponsoring the project
NEW YORK CITY, Jul. 18, 2024 /fashionmeetsfootball.com/ – The inaugural Fashion Meets Football weekend launched at the Lega Serie A US Office in New York City, featuring Juventus' new home kit, first unveiled on July 16 in Turin. Mundial Partners transformed the Serie A Office into a flagship store experience, allowing attendees from various industries to engage intimately with the brands sponsoring the project. Guests had the chance to deepen their understanding of Juventus by engaging with the brand in a fresh, interactive manner, beyond just watching a football match.
Guests were treated to an exclusive video presenting a "day in the life" perspective of the Juventus home kit. The video featured NYC native and DJ, Zillions, wearing the kit at various locations of the sponsoring brands, highlighting the interaction between Juventus and authentic New York brands. Creative & Art Direction was provided by Ntando Brown & Lücy Aa from Out Since Tuesday, with Photography Direction led by David Ko at Let’s Get Dinner Sometime, and Executive Production led by Mundial Partners’ David Bettenhausen.
The home kit, inspired by lunar missions, combines iconic black and white stripes with a subtle crater pattern reflecting the lunar surface. The design emphasizes the club’s continuous pursuit of progress. The look is completed with black shorts and socks. The field version of the kit features HEAT.RDY technology with advanced materials to maximize airflow and keep players cool, while the fan version includes AEROREADY technology, using breathable, moisture-wicking materials to keep the body dry.
Christian Savino, Managing Partner at Mundial Partners & Strategy Director at FMF, said “Fashion Meets Football celebrates the expanding collaboration between fashion and sport. Mundial Partners is proud to create a unique experience, connecting creators and athletes and entrepreneurs to foster a larger conversation about the game's growth. We are extremely grateful for the support of our sponsors in this inaugural project.”
This kickoff event held at the Lega Serie A US Office in New York City came the day before the league announced a new two-year agreement with CBS Sports to maintain the network’s role as the exclusive U.S. English-language rights holder of every Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana match.
“Congrats to the Mundial Partners team for pulling off a great event that really broke through the culture,” said Andy Mitchell, CEO and Managing Director of Lega Serie A US. “Bringing together the best of New York City’s sports and creative community demonstrates the relevance of the Fashion Meets Football brand, and it’s no surprise this activation yielded incredible results. We continue to build the Lega Serie A audience and fanbase by investing in strong partnerships.”
